April 17th is our Awards Night and Family Bowling Party at Holiday Bowl.
Please email me or call me by April 10 to let me know who from your family will attend. This year we are having a family bowling night instead of a car races and awards night. We have room for 120 people so each Cadet may bring their parents and siblings. We have the alley rented for 2 hours from 7:00 till 9:00. Cadets will pay for the bowling but there will be no food provided. Pizza, snacks, pop are available for purchase from Holiday Bowl. Since this is a Cadet event we ask that there are no alcohol purchases.

West Winds Cadets (All Southern Alberta) is hosting a Cadet Camp this year in the river bottom near Fort Macleod. The camp is June 25-29. If your son still has school on these dates they are still welcome to attend on the weekend. At this camp the boys in groups of 10 will make thier own shelters, cook their own food and participate in different events. This camp is a smaller version of our International Camporee that is held every 3 years with 2000 cadets. In 2011 the International Camporee is in Michigan. Any boys interested in going to the International Camporee in 2011 are encourage to go to the smaller West Winds Camporee this summer to gain the experience and badges they need to attend the larger camp. Registration forms are available by request or can be downloaded from the Nobleford CRC website. Registrations are due by April 15.

April 18, we sing at the Senior’s homes. Please be at the church @ 1:20 if you need a ride, or at Edith Cavell @ 2:00 P.M. Dads are encouraged to join us :) We will return to the church @ 3:45. Please wear your uniform.

Paintballing is on Saturday, June 12 or June 19, depending on the week of the soccer tournament. You will be contacted in May with more information. The cost is around $35 for the Dad’s. The Cadets cost is covered by the club.

Thank you for a wonderful Cadet season. Our kick off will be on September 20 at the corn maze. Our first Cadet night will be October 4. Encourage your son to invite his friends to Cadets next year. Look in your local post office, on the church website or get in touch with your counselor for more details. God bless you and your family and we’ll see you again in the fall.
