WORLD MISSIONS–Compelled by His Spirit: On this Pentecost Sunday, join with Christian Reformed World Missions in celebrating God’s global church, one of many faces, colours, languages, and cultures. With 80 percent of the world’s Christians living outside of North America and Europe, the Body of Christ is truly global. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we can see God’s work being done as local believers and missionaries from many countries reach out with the Good News.
BACK TO GOD MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL: Nadezhda, a listener from central Russia wrote Russian ministry leader Rev. Sergei Sosedkin: “Your radio broadcast is my only opportunity to hear the preaching of God’s Word.” Thanks to your faithful support through offerings and ministry shares, Nadezhda and millions of Russian-speaking people in at least 30 countries heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. Over the past year 65,000 people contacted our Russian discipleship team by letter, email or on an interactive website. Please continue to pray for worldwide Russian media outreach.
THE CHURCH WITHOUT INTEGRITY: We spend a lot of energy trying to fit in. We try to dress a certain way, have the right possessions, talk just the right way, all so that we blend into the crowd rather than stick out. We even see this sentiment arise in our churches. But how does this affect our values? Are we living lives of integrity? Are our churches ministering with integrity? Find out on the June 7 Back to God Hour. Go to www.BacktoGod.net for local stations and times.
