June 14, 2009

We are honoured guests this morning at the Lord’s table. The Lord will strengthen our faith with the use of the Sacrament. On this Communion Sunday, we invite our guests to listen carefully as the Form for the Celebration of the Lord’s Supper is read, which explains our understanding of the meaning and significance of the Sacrament. We believe that those who partake of the sacrament should be in good standing of a Christian Church, should profess Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour of their lives, should desire the Sacrament as a means of strengthening their faith, and should do so in accordance with the teaching of 1 Corinthians 11: 23 - 29.

WELCOME MEMBERS AND VISITORS TO OUR WORSHIP SERVICES!

“Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.” Psalm 86:6-7

The Bible League of Canada: Disturbing reports are coming from our frontline ministry partners indicating that Karen villagers in Burma are viciously being attacked. Urgent prayer is needed!

Please Pray:

1. That God will relieve the people from their trauma.

2. That God will make a way for the people to resettle in Thailand.

3. God will grant wisdom to know how to help.

4. The enemy would be put to shame. (Psalm 86:17)

5. That our partners may continue the primary focus on their ministry which is bringing Bibles and support to the Persecuted Church in Burma.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall rest under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2
