SUNDAY
SCHOOL
·
Begins September 11
·
Since Sunday School
will be starting again, and our little ones are always famished after church,
we are looking for volunteers to bring a small snack for the kids. The
kids LOVE this and we would like to continue this again. If you would be willing to bring a snack one
or two Sundays that would be wonderful and appreciated. I will have a
sign-up sheet in the foyer for this. The kids and I thank-you in advance
for doing this.
·
We will be having a short meeting after
church in the old nursery for Sunday School teachers
grades 1-6.
·
Beginning today (Sept 4), children in grade
5 will be added to the during Church Sunday School helper list. Grade 7 children will be added to the nursery
helper list.
Music: Are you willing to share your gift of music and help out by playing a prelude,
offering, or postlude for a church service?
If so, please let Elaine K. know.
Thank you for considering helping us out. Thanks – Elaine
FOOD BANK: This week, the food bank is in need of Canned Baby Food. Thank You!

LETHBRIDGE
CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S CHOIR: We are looking forward to starting another
year of choir with our practices at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1818 – 5th
Ave. S. on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM starting on Monday, September
12, 2011. Our goal is to put on 2
concerts a year, one at Christmas and one in the spring, plus 1 or 2 informal
mini-concerts at a seniors lodge or hospital. We would love to have many new
women, both young and old, join us as we sing praises to our God. Invite a
friend or come and join us. See you there!
The
Lethbridge Christian Men's Choir will begin its new season
on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Wilson Middle School, 19th Street and 9th
Avenue North. The choir practices each Wednesday from 7:30PM to 9:00PM. We
anticipate holding two concerts and also to sing at various Senior
lodges and/or the Regional Hospital. We urge all men who wish to sing to come
to our practices so that together we may glorify God by singing His praise.
