During my illness with cancer (2006-07) I was prayed for regularly by several of the congregations in classis. For this I will always be grateful. At that time, while the outcome was uncertain, I wrote a brief memoir of my father, who had been a missionary in Zimbabwe, mainly for the benefit of my sons. Now that I am still here, I thought I would share it with a wider public. Anyone interested in purchasing a copy of Thandabantu: The Man Who Loved the People may do so at Taber Christian Store, Dove Christian Supplies (Lethbridge) or by e-mailing me at sosbooks@ymail.com. Holy Land Journey 2010...with Rev. Bob Beasley of The Bible League of Canada We are passionate about providing Scriptures and training worldwide.  One of the new ways we are doing that is by giving opportunities for people to visit the lands of the Bible.  If you have always thought about going to Israel why not consider doing so this year?  Rev. Bob Beasley, Director of Teaching Ministry with the Bible League of Canada and a regular tour leader to Israel, will be leading a trip from August 30-September 7, 2010.  Whether you are a long time student of the Bible, or young in your walk with Christ, the Bible will come alive as you walk where the prophets and patriarchs walked and where Jesus lived and taught.  For more information, please call The Bible League of Canada at 1-800-363-9673 or email bbeasley@bibleleague.ca.

GROUNDWORK - Confession: Personal confession isn't a huge part of most people’s lives. In some Christian groups confession is viewed as almost an obligation. But other groups and churches refuse to talk about sin, claiming it’s too negative. Join the conversation and study what the Bible says about confession in our lives. Tune in to Groundwork May 30; find a local radio station or listen online at www.GroundworkOnline.com.
