ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today, Pastor Kevin fulfills a classical appointment in Saskatoon.  This morning, Elder Delbert K will lead us in our worship service and this evening, we welcome Pastor Joosse to out pulpit.

Update on Samantha:   While at the Mayo in Rochester, MN, I was finally diagnosed with Inflammatory Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD) - a systemic (system-wide) autoimmune disease. The body's dysfunctional immune system attacks healthy tissue, causing an inflammatory reaction. The inflammation leads to pain, scarring, tissue and joint damage. Overlapping conditions include; Osteoarthritis, Central Sensitivity Syndrome & Chronic Fatigue which are invisible to the outside. Presently, I am under a new treatment plan in which I have some improvements already! Although we know that our 21 month journey & over 130 medical appts is not at an end, we do feel some closure to our search for answers and for appropriate care. Unfortunately, there is no way to know how the disease will progress, we do know that there is nothing anyone can do to change the direction; we can only minimize the effects. We are finally at peace to leave that in God’s hands. We want to thank all of you who have personally supported our families in a variety of ways throughout these long months. We have felt God’s hands through you.   Samantha & Damon P.

We are looking for more adults to join us on the Video Committee.  Please talk to Jeff if you are interested.  Thanks    The Video Committee

VBS - We are looking for teachers and helpers to help us out for VBS this year. The sign-up sheet is located on the table in the fellowship hall by the south wall.
If you are interested but can't yet commit, please sign your name as well or let Vanessa know. Tentative dates for VBS are July 25-29, 2011.

VBS Supplies Request: Could you please start saving your paper towel rolls for VBS? We need lots! There will be a marked box in the foyer where you can put them.
