Deji and I would like to thank the congregation for your support and prayers; we really appreciate the people of Nobleford and the way you’ve continued to strengthen us even overseas. We would like to ask that you continue to pray for Dej’s visa situation, that his Canadian residency visa will come through quickly and effortlessly, especially in time for the birth of the baby. Thank you all so much for your kindness toward us, and May God continue to bless you richly. Deji and Mandy Bowoade

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR...We pray that God continues to bring healing to the eyes of Everet S.

Thanks to all of you who have already donated your time and effort. If you can’t remember what task you signed up for or what time, the sheets will be posted outside of the kitchen at the Community Centre. We still are in need of more people to prepare mashed potatoes and to help with setting up tables and chairs (1:00 in afternoon). Many members of the community join us for this event and usually come early, so if you are able to bring your salad or vegetable dish (which should serve 12-15 adults) by 5:15 or 5:30 that would be greatly appreciated. Donated items for the auction are always welcome. If you have any questions or unsure of how you can help in this event please contact one of the committee members: Sue Rose, Wilma Lubberts, Trina Molenaar, Betty Ann Slomp or Lucy Kooy. Thank-you.

4. Thank you to Vaughn S and Everet S for cleaning and preparing our old bricks for re-installation.

Thanks again to the many volunteers willing to help.

Building committee members are: Henry K., Rob K., Tim H., Luke H., Mike F., Henk P.

Building Finance Committee Report: Currently we have $332,846.33 left in our building fund. Since the start of the building in 2009 and till now we have expensed $592,578.61. We have received $31,546.61 in interest ($8,176.61) and pledges ($23,370.00) in 2010. We foresee that by the end of April of 2010 we will have exhausted our building fund and will have to access the mortgage funds available from The Christian Credit Union. Therefore to reduce interest charges we ask that if you are planning to contribute to the building project in 2010 via donations or pledges, that you do so by April 30, 2010 if at all possible. Thank-you.

VBS: Anyone who is interested in or is thinking about being interested in participating in VBS and its High Seas adventure this summer, please see the sign-up sheet in the foyer or contact Vanessa at vknieboer@yahoo.ca or Lynda at lbjordan1@juno.com. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Cadet Sunday and we welcome all Cadets and their families who are worshiping with us today.

Grades 1-6 Sunday school parents – a few reminders…

1. We will continue to collect for the food bank this month.

2. Each child brought home information for the World Missions poster contest. If you have any questions, please let us know. The entries are due to Lynda by April 11.

3. Sunday school is one of the avenues the Lord, through His church, has provided for the spiritual training of our children. We humbly request that you consider a couple of issues. First, please do not throw away your children’s Sunday school material as soon as you get home. Look at it with them, talk about it, and save it for a time, so that your children know that this part of their spiritual education is important. Throwing the papers away immediately fosters an attitude of disregard, even disrespect. Second, please respect the time and effort the teachers put into the preparation and teaching of the classes. Your attitudes are readily absorbed by your children. Encourage the teachers, and encourage your children to participate appropriately. In this way, we can all grow together as members of Christ’s body.

4. Each child came home today with a checklist for participating in services. Please go over this with your child and encourage them to participate. Please sign these and return them to Melinda or Lynda. Thanks!

FOOD BANK UPDATE: This week, the food bank is in need of Cereal. There will be a box at the back of church for you to put your food donation in.

ELIM: The Annual Meeting of Elim Society for Senior Citizens' Care will be held at ICHS (small gym) on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. The Board of Directors encourages everyone to attend this meeting for updates on the proposed seniors residence.
