ANNOUNCEMENTS

THANK YOU!  Another session of Coffebreak has ended, and we would like to thank Anita S and Elaine K for all the time and effort that you put into leading us in this women’s Bible study each week.  Thank you as well to Rika vdK and Lammie H for teaching and loving our preschoolers in Story Hour.  They love you both and are excited to see their teachers outside of Story Hour.  Thank you to the ladies that offered their Wednesday mornings to babysitting the little ones in the nursery so their mothers could spend some time in God’s Word and with other ladies.  Thanks and may God bless you!                    The women of coffeebreak

We are looking for more adults to join us on the Video Committee.  Please talk to Jeff if you are interested.  Thanks    The Video Committee

Archives---If any group or committee has historical items (minutes, record books, pictures, etc) to be stored in the Archive room, and, if anyone has old bulletins, church newsletters, directories, etc. to donate to the church's collection, please contact Lammie.

SERVE TRIP: We, the Young Peoples, are planning a Serve trip for this coming April to Biloxi, Mississippi.  In past years the kids have had 'Prayer Partners' from the congregation.  We would love for that to happen again this time. What it consists of is this:  You sign your name beside one of the young people, and you become their 'Prayer Partner' for the week that they are away.  In the past, the partners have sent a little package along with the kids, with a prayer, scripture or note of encouragement for each day that they are gone.  You can also include small treats, but make sure they are "Border Crossing" appropriate. We ask that you label each day, with the child's name and the day.(in envelope).  We ask that the total package be no bigger than a large Ziploc bag, since we have 25 kids going with 6 chaperones, and it creates a little extra luggage.  The sign up sheet will be in the foyer, and we ask that you prayerfully consider this wonderful way of connecting with our youth, even across the miles.  We will also include the chaperones, but we ask that you take all the kids first, so that they will all have your prayers, but us as leaders, would greatly welcome your prayers too.  We ask that these packages be done and handed in, to Sonya Wever, by April 17.  Thank you so much in advance for your support and prayers for our youth.

LIBRARY: An amazing work bee was held in the library this past week. But please Do Not take anything out yet. We wish to list all our resources. Please be patient with us. Please check your shelves for children's DVDs. Thank you!!!
