Congratulations to Kas and Crystal, Nick and
Wendy, Harry and Bonnie on the
birth of Nixon Robert. He was born on May 27 and weighed 7 lbs. and 14
oz. Mom and baby are doing well.
Arlyn J. continues to make
improvements. He eats in the dining hall, continues with therapy, and
receives dialysis three times a week.
Harold v.d.B. goes for a battery of
tests this week; doctors will also examine how the stem cell treatment
went. Pray for good results.
Kas continues to recover; the
doctor reports that the skin graphs are doing well.
Judy
v.H. reports that the
radiation treatments effectively dealt with the tumors.
She takes anti-seizure medicine and is unable to drive.
Keep Henny v.F. in your prayers.
Pray
for Stan and Hendrika N. Stan
remains quite weak; pray that Hendrika continues to
adjust well to the move.
Keep Henry and Alice P. in your prayers.
Pray for Dan K for God to bring healing either through a miracle or the
work of doctors.
Continue to
remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional
struggles. Please keep in prayer all those who are
mourning because a loved one has died. Please pray for our widows, widowers and
seniors Jennie E at Blue Sky Lodge, & Corrie H at
Columbia Assisted Living, and our expectant mothers.

Concert: You
are invited to attend Immanuel Christian High School's end of the year Band and
Choir Concert. It will be held at Trinity Reformed Church on Thursday,
June 9th starting at 7:00 p.m. A free will offering will be taken to

50th Wedding Anniversary: The children of Bert
& Gert Bolink invite

Kids! We'd like to know your favourite worship songs
so we can sing them in church! In the mailboxes you will find 2 decorated
boxes. One has paper and a pencil. Please take a paper, write your name on it
and your favourite worship song. Then put your paper

Coffee
Schedule: New coffee schedules will be out by the end of June. If you wish to have your name added or deleted please
let Liz K know during the next few weeks.
If it is your turn to make coffee, the instructions are on the bulletin
board in the kitchen.
Bridal Shower: Due to unforeseen date conflicts, we are
unable to hold a bridal shower for Joni Rose, bride elect of Troy Schwartz who
are engaged to be married on July 30. Therefore, we will be placing a
wishing well in the foyer for people to put their monetary shower gifts and
best wishes in. If you need more information, please contact Diane K.
Burger Bash
- The Burger Bash is coming up soon. The scheduled date is June 18.
To help make it another success please check the list in the foyer to
sign up for food donation and volunteering. Also pray for great weather
like we've had for past burger bashes. Thank you.
Sunday School: If
there is anybody (or more than one person) who would be willing to fill this

VBS - We are looking for teachers and helpers
to help us out for VBS this year. The sign-up sheet is located on the table in
the fellowship hall by the east wall.
If you are interested but can't yet commit, please sign your name as well or
let Vanessa know. Tentative dates for VBS are July 18-23, 2011.

CRWRC 2011 Spring
Storms Response: - CRWRC is responding to a heavy storm season this spring,
with flooding, tornadoes, and fires affecting communities across the U.S. and
Canada, including wildfires in Slave Lake, Alberta. CRWRC-DRS is seeking to
raise $1 million to respond to urgent and long-term needs from spring storms in

Do you know that
recipe that whenever there’s a potluck people ask you to bring? When
your kids come home for Sunday lunch, they say, “Mom can’t you please make
that—it’s our favorite!” Well, we’d like to
have that recipe!
The ICHS Senior Choir is excited to be putting together an ICS cookbook, full
of all of the favorite recipes from our school
society. We’re asking that everyone send in their favorite
recipes—parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, staff, students,
everyone! The cookbook will be professionally printed, and available
before Christmas. Opportunities to pre-order, as well as pricing
information will be coming.

Special Needs SERVE 2011 - Covenant Christian Reformed
