OUR CHURCH FAMILY
Lewis
Postman is showing marked
improvement in his speech and swallowing and has returned home this week. Thank you for prayers and concerns. Henry & Alice P
On May 27 Samantha P. had a knee arthroscopy. The doctor
found bone, cartridge (osteoarthritis) & tissue damage throughout
the knee. He also found signs of Rheumatoid (Inflammatory) arthritis. Only
a replacement of fluid was repaired at this time. She has started treatment for
her auto-immune disease in hopes to slow the damage and combat
the inflammation throughout her body. Recovery from the surgery is slow as the
health of her knee was already compromised.
Thank you so much for the
prayers, meals, cards and personal contact many of you have provided.
SUNDAY, JULY 4TH - immediately following the morning service the
congregation is invited to a time of fellowship at the Community Complex
in celebration of Bert & Pat
Konynenbelt's 50th wedding anniversary on July 6th.
CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR...
Dustin M. has
returned home. We give thanks to God for hearing our prayers.
Jenny E. has experienced some problems with her lungs for which she
requires oxygen. She still resides at the Blue Sky Lodge. She's
tired but has no pain. Ena Slomp waits to hear from the
Calgary Foothills surgeon regarding her lung cancer. Pray for peace and strength.
Harry S. will begin radiation treatments in the latter half of
July.
Betty Z. will undergo more tests in order to determine if the cancer is
primary or secondary. These results will determine the course of
treatment.
Dorothy C., Rev. Jake's wife, has returned home from the hospital,
remains weak, but is doing okay.
Henny v.F. waits for an
appointment with a bone specialist in Calgary.
Samantha P for energy to complete each day; for pain
relief and appropriate medical care.
Pray for Dan K.,
Melody, and the children. Pray for
continued grace and mercies.
Continue to remember
those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.
Please keep in prayer
all those who are mourning because a loved one has died.
Please pray for our
widows, widowers and seniors
