Do you know that recipe that whenever there’s a potluck people ask you to bring?  When your kids come home for Sunday lunch, they say, “Mom can’t you please make that—it’s our favorite!”  Well, we’d like to have that recipe! The ICHS Senior Choir is excited to be putting together an ICS cookbook, full of all of the favorite recipes from our school society.  We’re asking that everyone send in their favorite recipes—parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, staff, students, everyone!  The cookbook will be professionally printed, and available before Christmas.  Opportunities to pre-order, as well as pricing information will be coming.
Please send your recipes to Monica Moedt at mmoedt@immanuelcs.ca by June 23, 2011, or drop off at the front office of the school.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call Monica at the high school (328-4783), or at home (345-4174).  We’re looking forward to receiving your recipes!

Families are a vital part of a child’s faith life. From a Children’s Bible Club Leader in India: “Lord Jesus, we are so happy to know that Mythri—and her whole family—have accepted you as Saviour through the Children’s Bible Club. We praise you for transforming their lives! We pray that Mythri and her family will be a strong witness for you in their community.” At the same Club, “Kavi has been warned by his father to stop attending. God, we pray that you will change the heart of Kavi’s father and provide Kavi a way to keep learning more about Jesus.” Please pray for the children of India! www.bibleleague.ca

Three students from an Adult Literacy Class in southeast India have stopped worshipping Hindu idols, and they are eager to keep learning about the Gospel. We pray that the Holy Spirit will open the hearts of these three women as they hear the truth about Jesus at their classes. www.bibleleague.ca

When Chana, an Adult Literacy student in India, gave her life to Christ, she eagerly went home and told her family. Today, Chana’s husband and two children have also found salvation in Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord! www.bibleleague.ca
