OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Birthday Wishes are extended to Mrs. Jenny A who celebrates her birthday on Tuesday, July 5.  May God bless you as you celebrate with family and friends.

Bridal Shower: Due to date conflicts and farming commitments we are unable to host a shower for Amanda Mercer bride elect of Ed Hummel, who will be united in marriage on July 16 in Broadview, Saskatchewan.  In lieu of a shower we will be placing a decorated box in the foyer for people to put their monetary gifts and best wishes in. If you have any questions please contact Benita.

Brian K. reports that the staples have been removed.  He continues to learn new skills and to proceed nicely with therapy.

Arlyn J. has moved to another care center where he continues physical therapy.

Harold v.d.B. will receive chemotherapy once a week for three weeks.  He'll have a break for a week.  Then he'll receive more chemotherapy once a week for three more weeks.

Please keep Judy v.H., Stan and Hendrika N. Kas, Henny v.F., and Henry and Alice P. in your prayers.

Kas has recovered quite well.  His foot has healed well and doctors are pleased.  He drives, mows the lawn, and helps out around the house.  Hopefully, he'll get some prosthetic toes in the near future.

Pray for Dan K for God to bring healing either through a miracle or the work of doctors.

Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.                                                                                                                                     Please keep in prayer all those who are mourning because a loved one has died. Please pray for our widows, widowers and seniors Jennie E at Blue Sky Lodge, & Corrie H at Columbia Assisted Living, and our expectant mothers.

Vacation Bible School:

--Thank you for all the supplies that have been donated so far, they are very much appreciated.

--Thank you to all who have volunteered to help, and have helped already, to make VBS work this year.

--This year, we want as many pre-registered children as possible. The registration forms are on the VBS table in the foyer next to the library.
Please fill out any forms and place them in Vanessa's mailbox as soon as possible. You may also pre-register by emailing Vanessa at vbs@noblefordcrc.com.

-- Attention all youth, children & their parents:   In the next 3 weeks, the large basement room (with the concrete flooring) is going to be used to
gather and assemble the decorating props for VBS. We are asking if you could please refrain from entering that room after church.
In addition, in the next week or so, the teachers are going to start decorating their rooms, which are located in the rest of the
basement (including the Sunday school room, the old nursery, & the main area).
We are asking if all the decorations & props could be handled with care and respect and, if at all possible, remain undisturbed. Thank you.

PLANS FOR THE LETHBRIDGE PREGNANCY CARE CENTRE are well under way. Lord willing, we hope to open the doors sometime next year. However, there is a lot of work and a lot of start up costs before then. The steering committee is working hard in our community to get information together, and, we are in the process of obtaining our own charitable status.  We would like to thank everyone who has supported us financially, as well as through your prayers.

People have been asking what they can do to help; right now, we are in great need of your financial support. Please prayerfully consider what you would be able to help us with. You can write a cheque directly to the Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre (no tax receipt yet) Box 935 Lethbridge, AB T1J 3Z8 or if you would like a tax receipt you can send a cheque to the Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre (on the memo line: Lethbridge Centre) #205, 925- 7th Ave SW Calgary, AB T2P 1A5 or visit Calgary's website www.pregcare.com and donate online with your credit card.  Remember to select "Other" and type in Lethbridge Centre. Calgary will then advance the funds directly to us.

KIDS CORNER - Lonesome Chuckwalla: Have you ever seen a real hero? Come meet a flying ace on this week’s Kids Corner. Then write to Kids Corner at P.O. Box 5070, Burlington ON L7R3Y8 or go to kids@kidscorner.net for your very own Bible study.

CRWRC - Thank you Canada! The Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC) would like to thank Canada for all their support over the past year. Matching funds from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), combined with contributions from other Canadian Foodgrains Bank members, enabled us to do $10.5 million in disaster aid programming this year. In addition, when CIDA denied our request for funding for community development programs, Canadians stepped up and helped us fill the gap through our Harvest Hope campaign. We currently have less than $5,000 to go to meet our $825,000 Harvest Hope goal. Thank you!
