CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ...

Please remember in prayer the Nobleford GEMS counselors who for the past three days have been in Hamilton, ON participating in the annual GEMS Conference. The 2009-2010 theme is Prayer No Worries, may these women find this conference refreshing and rejuvenating so that they may return home and be fully equipped for the year ahead. The GEMS ministry is an important part of the community and we covet your continued prayer support for the local club. The counselors attending are Mary Busz, Brittany Prestage, Shauna Konynenbelt, Diane Kooy and Benita Hummel.

Martin Nyland had a detailed MRI done on Thurday at U of A hospital. On Monday they meet with a neurologist to go over the MRI results. Depending on what the doctor sees they will do a biopsy on Friday if needed. The technical term the doctor gave was that dad has glioblastoma mulitforme. Keep praying for mom & dad, dad's brothers & sisters, us kids, spouses and the grandkids.

Sara Slomp received her second treatment on July 10. She says that everything is going well.

Please pray that God brings continued healing to Jenny Emmelkamp's rib.

Pray for Bill Nieboer and his adjustments in losing a big toe. The Nieboers thank God for continued healing in Bill’s foot.
Harry Korver continues to improve. He goes to the doctor this week. He hopes to get rid of the boot and begin physical therapy.
Dave Heins reports that his foot feels well. He goes for an x-ray this week.

Please continue to pray for healing for Dan Konynenbelt. Pray for Melody, the kids, and the extended family as well.

Please remember the Postmans and Konynenbelts with the recent loss of Tony Postman.

Also remember those who suffer from chronic disease, pain and depression that may not be as visible.

Please keep in prayer all those who are mourning because a loved one has died.

Jennie Emmelkamp at Blue Sky Lodge, Mary Nieboer, at the Good Samaritan Center,

Corrie Heins at Columbia Assisted Living, Tina Koetse, in St. Michael’s Health Care Center, our widows, widowers, seniors and expectant mothers.

· Site Preparation, tree/shrub removal should be completed soon

· Our present natural gas service needs to be relocated and meter updated and moved outside. Atco Gas is taking care of meter; Nobleford CRC to take care of trenching

· We have an architectural contract with Templar Architectural out of Calgary who is reviewing and approving plans as submitted

· Electrical/HVAC/mechanical engineering almost completed

· Once foundation load plan is returned and approved, excavation can begin

· Dick VanHarbeden working with Templar Architectural, West-Co draftsman, building committee as necessary

The Building Finance Committee (Andrew K, Jerry dB, Lucy K) report that the building fund (cash and 2009 pledges) has approximately 50% of the estimated cost of the project with an additional $304,100 in pledges for the years 2010-2013. We are working with the Christian Credit Union-Lethbridge to obtain a mortgage for the remaining funds required to complete the project. As the project is now underway, we ask that all 2009 pledges be paid before September 30, 2009. Thank-you.
