Attention Congregation!  Sunday, August 8 is our annual Fruit & Buns Sunday, where everyone is welcomed and encouraged to stay after the morning service for lunch and fellowship at the Blue Whale, with Praise & worship to follow @ 1:00 and the second service @ 1:30 P.M.   In order to cut down on costs this year due to the building project, the Worship Advisory Committee is asking that each family/single adult attending please bring one dozen prepared buns to the church basement before the morning service on Sunday, August 8.   The committee hopes this will be a time of wonderful worship and fellowship as well as helping out the VBS program to be able to set up earlier on that day.  Thank you in advance for your help and if you have any questions please contact Jeff Notenbomer.

Please read Genesis 26-50 by tonight.  After the evening service, we'll meet and I'll ask some questions about those chapters.  Or you can ask me a question.  We can also discuss anything related to those chapters.  Any questions, please feel free to ask me.  Pastor Kevin

GEMS Girls’ Clubs Conference in Minneapolis! These three and a half days of leadership training, worship, and fellowship will equip women and prepare them for the upcoming GEMS season. The annul theme, Feed the Fire! will be revealed and women will be challenged to move from apathy to action, keeping their spiritual fervor for serving the Lord. Please join in praying for the event and for each woman who attends, that God will be glorified and that lives will be changed.

Campaign Life Coalition is the premiere advocate for legal and cultural change in Canada with respect to protecting human life and the family. Campaign Life Coalition is a national, non-profit organization with offices from coast-to-coast. We work tirelessly to heal the cultural insanity that leads our nation to tolerate the killing of 100,000 pre-born Canadian children every year.  IF you want to begin receiving emails from them, go to www.campaignlifecoalition.com.  Some of the issues they are dealing with are:

·       Stop Bill-C232 in the Senate. Say NO to radicalizing the Supreme Court!—This makes it more likely that lawyers and judges from Quebec will be appointed to the Supreme Court. What's the problem with that, you ask? Quebec is the most liberal, anti-life, anti-family province in Canada. If C-232 passes, it will, in effect, radicalize the Supreme Court even more than it is already, in favour of an anti-life ideology.

Canadians need a 'Fox News North'!

·       ATTENTION PRO-LIFERS! We need your help to influence a new, Canadian TV news channel in the hope it will give a voice to pro-life and pro-family issues.  Rumour has it that the new channel by Montreal-based Quebecor, will target the untapped market of "small-c conservatives". This brings with it fresh hope that, finally, a Canadian news outlet might open the public square to a pro-life and pro-family voice. If true, this could change the cultural/political landscape in our nation which has been in the grip of the liberal elites who run Canada’s biased, mainstream media.
