OUR CHURCH FAMILY
Art Van Faassen suffered a heart attack this past Wednesday and is in ICU at the Regional Hospital. His heart has been stabilized and is waiting for results and he may need to go to Calgary for further procedures. Please remember Art in your prayers, as well, pray for his mother Henny, and sisters Jackie Konynenbelt and Dianne VanderLeest and their families. We pray the Lord will grant Art a complete recovery.”
CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ...
Martin Nyland had a biopsy of the tumor on Friday. We need to wait 2 weeks to hear from the Cross Cancer Centre what the treatment will be. The neurologist indicated that surgery is not an option, most likely radiation would be the next step.
Sara Slomp received her second treatment on July 10. She says that everything is going well.
Please pray that God brings continued healing to Jenny Emmelkamp's rib.
Harry Korver continues to improve. He goes to the doctor this week. He hopes to get rid of the boot and begin physical therapy.
Dave Heins reports that his foot feels well. He goes for an x-ray this week.
Please continue to pray for healing for Dan Konynenbelt. Pray for Melody, the kids, and the extended family as well.
Please remember the Postmans and Konynenbelts with the recent loss of Tony Postman.
Also remember those who suffer from chronic disease, pain and depression that may not be as visible.
Please keep in prayer all those who are mourning because a loved one has died.
Jennie Emmelkamp at Blue Sky Lodge, Mary Nieboer, at the Good Samaritan Center,
Corrie Heins at Columbia Assisted Living, Tina Koetse, in St. Michael’s Health Care Center, our widows, widowers, seniors and expectant mothers.

The Bible League: After living in their new home in the Ukraine for several months, Misha and Oxana and their three children were experiencing illness, fighting, and nothing but troubles. Thoughts of suicide became a daily trial. The local fortune teller was unsuccessful in driving away the evil spirits from their home. In desperation, Oxana appealed to two Christians in her village, who, along with the pastor from their church, came to pray with Misha and Oxana. The atmosphere of the house lightened! A perfect peace entered Misha and Oxana’s house—God’s peace. Oxana has since accepted the Lord into her heart. Please pray for her husband and family, that they too may accept Jesus! To partner with local churches in the Ukraine, please contact The Bible League of Canada at www.bibleleague.ca or call 1-800-363-9673.
