Bazaar 2009 - The Annual Church bazaar netted $5610. The bazaar committee was very encouraged by the community’s support. A big thanks to Liz K, Pat K & Wilhelmina K for all their help. Thank you also to those who participated in the supper and the auction.
Ladies: I will be scheduling two hot meals a week for Herman Bolink for the next little while. Please contact me @ 824-3659 where I will have a calendar to write down all the information and I can give you diet restrictions and preferences. Please consider this prayerfully as the more ladies that participate, the easier it will be to do. Please feel free to put your name down if you can do it only once in a while. Thanks. Jerry DenBoon
FROM THE BUILDING COMMITTEE: After much time, preparation, meetings and planning we are now prepared with new concept plans and cost estimates. We will present to council on April 7, 2009. The building committee will then meet with council at the earliest possible date to completely review and further discuss. We will announce the next step at that time. Thanks again for your patience.

GREETINGS FROM WAYNE AND LYNN TEN HARMSEL
It is finally warming up here, and the trees are flowering! It is a beautiful time of year.
Things are going well, with lots of opportunities! Wayne is currently leading two Bible
studies and will be doing some teaching in Chinese, at church, beginning in late April. We
are gearing up for summer English teaching teams. We have 3 this year, so it will be a
busy summer! Please convey our thanks to the Cadet club, and all who purchased ties for
the church roof fund. The roof is up and the church is being used. Blessings to you all!
VBS -2009 -- August 10-14
We are still looking for a few more teachers to come and slop through the “Swamp” with us at this years VBS. It is always a load of fun, and we would love it if you would join our crew. We would like to get started real soon, so if you could let one of us know ASAP, that would be wonderful. As always when we have young Moms teaching, we have their little ones to take care of. If you would like to help out in nursery and watch these cutie- patooties, even if it is only a couple mornings in that week, let us know. Anything is much appreciated. We are also looking for you ‘helpers’ to travel and help with the kids. There will be a sign-up sheet in the foyer on the bulletin board, so you can sign up there. We hope to see ‘YOU’ on the crew!
Sonya Wever @ 824-3922 or Shauna Konynenbelt @ 824-3280.

PRAYER REQUEST: Praise God for more than 3,000 responses in one month to Back to God Ministries International Kids Corner program. Thanks to Internet broadcasting, we are reaching children in Australia, India, the Philippines, Ukraine, Mexico and many more countries, touching lives like Kristin who wrote, “I just wanted to let you know that I did pray and tell God I wanted to be a follower.”
THE GREAT REVERSAL: We often make mistakes or say things we wish we hadn’t said. Usually this leads to wishing life had a pause or a rewind button! No matter how powerful we are as humans, we have no power to change the past. Yet with this Easter message we know that God can reverse whatever we understand to be humanly irreversible. Join us in celebrating Christ’s victory over the grave on the Apr. 12 Back to God Hour. Go to www.BacktoGod.net for local stations and times.
THE MIRACLE OF EASTER: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet Jesus? Or to be in Jerusalem when Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead? This is the story of a little girl who was raised to life by Jesus. But then Jesus himself dies, setting the stage for the most thrilling event of all. Visit the Kids Corner web site at www.kids-corner.org. Then write to Kids Corner at P.O. Box 5070, Burlington ON L7R3Y8 for your very own Bible study.

Please pray for these trainers and volunteers who are committed to bringing the light of Jesus to children in India. To help provide Bibles and Bible lessons to teach these children, please call The Bible League of Canada at 1-800-363-9673 or go to www.bibleleague.ca.
