Dan Konynenbelt has been diagnosed with sporadic prion disease. There is no medical cure. We continue to pray for Dan, Melody, their children, Ron, Tina, siblings, grandmas, and extended family.

Andrew Konynenbelt reports that he had another good week. Praise God for his blessings of healing and strength.

Hank Stronks reports that he has no pain and life is going well.

We pray for the family of John Christian who was laid to rest this past Wednesday. May God give you comfort and peace.

Continue to pray that God will bring healing to Nick Wever.

CONGREGATION MEETING - IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
A congregation meeting is planned for Wednesday, April 29, 2009 @ 7:30pm.
The plans for the building project are finalized! The council has met with the Building Committe and Finance Committee and approved the work of the Building Committe for presentation to the congregation. The building plans have been placed in your mailboxes. In this regard the Finance Committee (Andrew Konynenbelt, Jerry den Boon and Lucy Kooy) asks the congregation to review their pledge commitments and inform one of the committee members if they have any difficulty in honouring their pledge as the Finance Committee is working on obtaining additional financing (i.e. mortgage) prior to the start of the build. If you are unsure of your pledge commitments please contact L. Kooy. Finances will be discussed at the meeting. If you have any questions regarding the congregation meeting please contact a council member. This is an important meeting so everyone is encouraged to attend.

GEMS: This year for our mother-daughter activity we decided to do something different so we are inviting all GEMS moms and their daughter(s) to play CHARACTER QUEST?? This exciting game takes place on Friday, May 1 from 6:30 8 pm in the Centre Court (by the Telus store) of Park Place Mall in Lethbridge. Please meet us there and we ask everyone to arrive a little early so we can make the most of our time at the mall. Refreshments to follow. Vacation Bible School Painting Party: We will be having a Swampy Painting Party on Friday and Saturday, May 22 - 23. We could really use your help to paint the backdrops and props to make our Swampy Set a reality. If you can spare some time to come and help us, it will be really appreciated. The date is set for Saturday, June 6 at the home of Wilma Lubberts (318 Hunt Street). If you have items that you are willing to donate please drop them off at Wilma's house the week before (June 1-5) or if you would like to "get rid of it" sooner please contact Benita 732-5163 to make arrangements. Today you will receive a brochure describing the ministries which your gift will help to fund this year.
